Botanica International Design Studio and Style House Rentals is looking for a part time Social Media & Marketing Intern to bring a fresh, creative perspective to our marketing strategy and our social media platforms. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social presence and gaining visibility for our brand among clients and industry vendors.

Reports to:  Creative Director, Marketing Coordinator

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the on-site Marketing Coordinator and Creative Director to create and implement social media and marketing strategies.

  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands.

  • Publish daily content (combining both original text and images as well as text, images and videos provided by the Marketing Coordinator) that enhances affinity for Botanica / Style House.

  • Assist marketing coordinator with various tasks such as email marketing, photography, basic graphic designs, etc.

  • Monitor design/decor and event industry news and share on social media.

  • Track the growth and impact of social media on the business.

  • Collaborate with designers and production associates to capture production.

  • Update social media accounts with activities and events being led by the company.

  • Attend company planned events and post live and on-site content.

  • Monitor and respond to social media activities on a regular basis and build relationships with new and existing audiences.


  • Minimum 8 hours per week

  • Personal laptop required

  • Exceptional written/verbal skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to interact professionally

  • Sprout Social experience preferred, not required

  • Photography skills a plus

  • Basic graphic design skills a plus
